A/C and Controls Shop

The A/C and Controls Shop handles refrigeration repairs on all sizes and kinds of equipment, from split system DX equipment to building chillers.

The A/C and Controls Shop also installs new refrigeration equipment, as well as installing temporary air conditioning/heating for critical areas where there may be an outage of the building's system.

The shop also handles the recovery of refrigerants from units that are being disposed of.

The A/C and Controls Shop is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of building environmental system controls throughout the FSU campus. This includes maintaining temperature control of classrooms, labs, and offices to provide a safe, sustainable, and comfortable environment for students, faculty, and staff.
