Florida State’s electricity is sourced from the city of Tallahassee and is necessary for essential functions such as lighting, climate control, and powering technology.  Each building on campus is equipped with at least one meter to measure the electric usage per building. Most of the university's meters are integrated into the building automation system, allowing remote management. We gather data including total kWh, peak kW, voltage, and amperage.
