The energy engineering team plans building and retrofit projects to reduce total energy usage by formulating and recommending policies and procedures to effectively administer the university's energy. Additionally, the team manages the recurring energy fund that supports ongoing conservation efforts, capitalizing projects with a payback period of 7 years or less. The team collaborates with university project managers, architects, and engineers to review engineering studies, designs, plans, and specifications.
