The electrical engineering team maintains safe, reliable, and efficient electrical systems and equipment across campus and integrates these practices into the planning of future facilities. We collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to design and plan electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects while identifying and implementing energy-saving measures. In addition, we offer troubleshooting and emergency response in the event of utility system issues or outages and ensure that all electrical systems and equipment comply with relevant safety standards and codes. Furthermore, the electrical engineering team provides training and education on electrical safety to the FSU community.
