Scott Speicher Memorial

The university dedicated a new memorial in honor of Lieutenant Commander Michael Scott Speicher, an FSU alumnus and U.S. Navy hero. The Scott Speicher memorial, located at the entrance of the tennis facility named after him in 1993, features a bronze pilot’s helmet, flight jacket, and hat similar to what Speicher would have worn.
