Responsible for performing comprehensive custodial duties to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of university facilities. Cleans and maintains carpeted, tile, wood, and concrete floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and floor care techniques. Dusts and sanitizes furniture, fixtures, windows, restrooms, water coolers, and other surfaces while ensuring supplies are replenished and waste is properly removed.

Responsible for overseeing custodial operations and maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the Oglesby Union complex, Askew Student Life Center, Student Services Building, and Circus. Plans and schedules staff assignments, conducts inspections, implements cleaning procedures, and ensures compliance with departmental policies and standards. Coordinates staff training, administrative personnel matters, special event setups, and facility and equipment repairs.

Performs comprehensive custodial cleaning and maintenance of university facilities, including carpeted, tile, wood, and concrete flooring. Uses specialized cleaning equipment and products for carpet extraction, floor stripping, sealing, finishing, polishing, and restoration, while cleaning and maintaining furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, blinds, and other building surfaces.

Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of campus facilities by cleaning and caring for carpets, hard-surface floors, furnishings, restrooms, and common areas. Performs floor maintenance activities including vacuuming, mopping, stripping, sealing, buffing, and operating specialized custodial equipment. Dusts and sanitizes surfaces, replenishes restroom supplies, and removes trash and debris in accordance with safety procedures.

Performs comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of floors, furniture, and surfaces using various equipment and techniques. Handles restroom sanitation, restocking of supplies, and waste removal (excluding hazardous materials). Maintains custodial equipment, reports maintenance needs, ensures safety, and supports general facility upkeep as assigned.

Performs comprehensive custodial cleaning and maintenance of carpeted, tile, wood, and concrete flooring throughout university facilities. Uses specialized equipment and cleaning products for carpet extraction, floor stripping, sealing, finishing, polishing, and restoration, while maintaining furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, blinds, entrances, and other building surfaces. Cleans and sanitizes public restrooms and water coolers, removes waste, restocks supplies, and maintains custodial equipment while reporting supply and repair needs.

Supervises and coordinates routine custodial services and special cleaning projects, including scheduling, prioritizing assignments, inspecting completed work, and ensuring compliance with established standards and safe work practices. Performs custodial duties as needed, including dusting, vacuuming, carpet care, sweeping, and waste removal.

Performs university-wide relocation, event setup, material handling, and custodial support services. Sets up and breaks down tables, chairs, risers, podiums, furnishings, and equipment; assists with office moves, surplus property pickups and deliveries, and warehouse organization using appropriate vehicles and material-handling equipment.

Supervises Custodial Staff. Provides training and instruction. Sets goals and objectives and determines workloads. Plans and establishes methods and frequency for cleaning. Communicates with the supervisory chain of command regarding daily operations and personnel related matters. Prepares forms and investigates incidents of on the job accidents/injuries of employees. Maintains accurate and up to date daily attendance and leave records.

Operates and maintains a university mobile carpet cleaning unit to provide specialized floor and upholstery cleaning services across residence halls. Performs carpet cleaning, stain removal, vacuuming, water extraction and restoration, upholstery cleaning, and maintenance of various floor surfaces.
