This position leads the In-House Design team within Planning, Design & Construction (PD&C) and serves as the university’s chief architectural authority.

Provides comprehensive administrative and project support to the Planning, Design & Construction unit in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment. Manages and maintains project documentation throughout the full project lifecycle, including budgets, bids, contracts, change orders, compliance records, and close-out documents, ensuring adherence to University policies and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be hired at the most appropriate level of Project Specialist/Manager, based on education and experience. This position will be responsible for managing the design and/or construction process of capital improvement projects, assuring projects are designed in compliance with university, state and federal standards and programmatic requirements and completed on schedule, within budget and in compliance with a contractually defined scope and quality standards. Project scopes may include all building systems and a wide variety of project types, with a moderate level of complexity such as a clinic/laboratory. This position is typically found in Planning, Design & Construction.
