In an effort to ensure the confidentiality and security of data stored on hard drives, Surplus is no longer refurbishing and/or re-selling computers and other electronic devices.

All e-waste (computers, printers, screens, tablets, etc) is safely and securely disposed of through our electronics recycling program and FSU receives certification of secure destruction from our vendors.

If you have usable items that are available for departmental reuse, please post a message to the Nolenet community (nolenet@lists.fsu.edu) and complete the transfer outside of the surplus disposition process. Once electronics enter the recycling pipeline, we are unable to transfer items back to departments.
