Cardboard recycling containers are available around campus buildings and research facilities, usually found in the back of the building or in loading dock areas.

Look for the large metal container with the yellow lid!

For buildings without a cardboard recycling container, Waste Management will collect it directly from building loading docks.

The cardboard is collected daily on campus and transported to the FSU recycling facility, where it is manually fed into a cardboard baler. Cardboard bales are then sent to recycling vendors in the region.

On an average weekday, FSU produces two bales of cardboard, each weighing about 1,000 pounds.
